Triumph TR3 steering box rebuilt with new olive seal and gland nut installed. Trafficator wiring will extend thru this end of the stator tube, and when the depth of the steering wheel/trafficator is set at the top end, the gland nut can be securely tightened to lock the stator tube at 12 o’clock so the steering wheel is aligned properly.
