1961 Jaguar E Type

1961 Jaguar E Type. This is an early flat floor, welded louver bonnet car brought into Britsport several years ago for complete body and paint work. The metal work was completed as well as most of the plastic work, then the car was left in primer and stored. The project will now continue and should be in Opalescent Gray Metallic soon. (more…)

1956 Austin Healey Hundred BN2

1956 Austin Healey

1956 Austin Healey. Brought into the shop to convert to 100M specs, ie: engine upgrades, louvered bonnet, etc. The bonnet, purchased from the UK by the car owner, did not come close to a reasonable fit. The paint had to be stripped, the skin removed from the bonnet and modified to match the factory shroud. After large quantities of All-Metal and body filler was found, the decision was made to strip the entire car to metal for a slight color change. (more…)

1957 Triumph TR3

1957 Triumph TR3A. This is an early TR3A chassis brought into the shop to mate to the bare body tub after the metal work is completed. Alot of the mechanical bits have been reworked here, then assembled by the owner off-site. Note Laycock “A” type overdrive fitted to gearbox.

1983 Jaguar XJ-6 Series 3

Jaguar XJ-6

1983 Jaguar XJ-6 Series 3. Brought in for strip and repaint. Discovered significant rust out in front and rear window channels and lower rear valance. All rust cut out and replacement sections welded in and metal finished. Painted with PPG DCC Urethane and Glasurit clear on top. Fresh headlining, mats and door seals as well.

1961 MGA 1600 roadster. One owner since 1966, stored for the last 20+ years. Brought to Britsport for a complete nut and bolt rebuild of the entire car.
