Jaguar XK140

1956 Jaguar XK140MC Roadster. This is an older restoration brought into Britsport for a bit of freshening, mainly engine and engine compartment details, minor upholstery repairs, gauge rebuilding as well as a deserved major service of all systems. We will also correct several errors of detail missed by the previous restorer. This is a very nice, number matching MC roadster. (more…)

1954 Jaguar XK120 FHC

1954 Jaguar XK120

Jaguar XK120 FHC. Brought into Britsport for new door wood capping/surrounds install as well as complete dash fascia replacement and rebuilding of all gauges. We will also replace both windscreen glass sections and restore the steering wheel. While the windscreen glass is out the chrome trim will be repaired and plated.

1958 MGA Roadster

1958 MGA

1958 MGA. Brought to Britsport with the substrate sealed and the majority of the metal work done. Britsport was hired to finish up panel fitting and perform the long process of block sanding, filling and flatting as well as applying the basecoat/clearcoat in “Mellow Yellow”. The paintwork is done and will cure for three weeks or so, then the body tub will be installed on the restored rolling chassis. The majority of the inside assembly work will be completed before the post-paint sanding and polishing is performed. (more…)

1961 Jaguar E Type

1961 Jaguar E Type

1961 Jaguar E Type. This is an early flat floor, welded louver bonnet car brought into Britsport several years ago for complete body and paint work. The metal work was completed as well as most of the plastic work, then the car was left in primer and stored. The project will now continue and should be in Opalescent Gray Metallic soon. (more…)
