<p>1958 MGA. Brought to Britsport with the substrate sealed and the majority of the metal work done. Britsport was hired to finish up panel fitting and perform the long process of block sanding, filling and flatting as well as applying the basecoat/clearcoat in &#8220;Mellow Yellow&#8221;. The paintwork is done and will cure for three weeks or so, then the body tub will be installed on the restored rolling chassis. The majority of the inside assembly work will be completed before the post-paint sanding and polishing is performed.<span id="more-1241"></span></p>

<p>1961 MGA 1600. Bare, rolling chassis ready for removal of front and rear suspension systems, final stripping and off to media blasting. After blasting is completed, rust repair of chassis rails can commence.</p>

<p>1961 MGA. The chassis frame has been sandblasted and all rust repair completed. The frame was then powder coated satin black. Front and rear suspension systems are completely restored with all new/rebuilt parts throughout. The gearbox is fully rebuilt and coupled to the restored motor with a fresh flywheel and 3 piece clutch kit. The ancillary components on the engine are being rebuilt and installed when done. The wheels were blasted, epoxy primed, then painted satin silver as original. New wooden floor boards were fitted to the chassis rails.</p>

<p>The majority of the reassembly work is completed. Fuel/cooling systems complete and initial startup and re-torque work done. Next up is flushing and bleeding of the new brake system then time for fresh leather upholstery/carpets/weather equipment.</p>

<p>Austin Healey 3000 BJ8. Driven into the shop. This was a old redo by a not so talented home restorer/car flipper. <p>Austin Healey 3000. Paintwork completed. I prefer if possible, to spray the bonnet and boot lid detached from main body for color application in order to paint troughs completely. Nothing ruins a decent paint job like unpainted corners. Note exact reflection of overhead lighting in the body and paintwork.</p>

<p>Triumph TR6. After the welding was completed, the chassis went back to the customer for the bulk of the mechanical restoration. He did a fine job, then it was brought back for the fitting of body to chassis.</p>
