1961 Standard 10 Companion. Another installment of the “Cool Cars That Show Up Often” segment of this website. Owned by a good friend and faithful customer, it was brought in for storage to escape the Seattle winter rain. Very cool car brought from the U.K. a few years ago and lovingly improved since.
1967 Jaguar E Type
1967 Jaguar 4.2 Litre E Type brought in for door hinge rebuilding in 2005. Fairly fresh restoration from another shop. It appears the sagging doors were overlooked.
Ferrari 250 SWB
Ferrari 250 SWB. One day the noise sounded peculiar. A great 250 SWB from a nearby collection roared in to say hello. This is a very interesting neighborhood.
1959 Austin Healey gearbox
1959 Austin Healey 3000 Sideshift gearbox and overdrive. Condition unknown. Brought to Britsport for teardown and evaluation.
1933 Mercedes 380K
1933 Mercedes 380K Erdmann & Rossi Special Roadster. From a local prominent collection. Accidentally damaged in the LH front louvered bonnet section by an errant prop rod three days before shipping to Pebble Beach 2009. Britsport was entrusted to perform last minute repairs prior to expert detailing by James Emmi. The car was awarded Second In Class at the concours. (what happened to my hair?) (more…)
